I'm excited to be guest posting here on Always Spread Love. I dream of one day having my own beach cottage so I'm sharing some of my favorite seaside rooms filled with nautical stripes. This charming beach inspired living room features nautical stripes in blue and white on a pair of comfy chairs. The blue is carried through to the back wall of the built-in bookcases.

This room looks as if it belongs along the beach but in reality it is a farmhouse in the middle of the Texas hill country. The nautical stripes on the floor add to the beachy feel of the space.

This is the entry in the house above. I love the grey driftwood appearance of the console topped with various bits of natural accents.

With a view of the water beyond, this seaside cottage features nautical stripes on the sofa. A collection of seashells sit on a sofa table beside a large contemporary light fixture.

A pleasing palette of soft blues and white give this beach house a nautical feel all its own. The stripes in the living area mix beautifully with the toile on the dining chairs.

This seaside-themed room gets its nautical appeal from striped furnishings and beach inspired accessories. The weathered chest used as a coffee table is a nice touch.

A bright sky blue frames windows and covers a chair and ottoman in this beach cottage. Stripes on the chair mimic the lines of blue around the windows and door.

Nautical stripes cover furnishings and floor in this seaside cottage. The lighting fixture is pretty but it would be nice if it were a bit larger.
